Shoscombe Church School is located in the picturesque village of Shoscombe a few miles outside Bath in the county of Somerset. The school was founded in 1866 and has been extensively expanded and improved over the years to cater for the needs of children between the ages of 4 and 11 in the local community. The school aims to provide a safe, calm and nurturing environment in which the children can thrive in their learning and be happy.

What We Did

With extensive previous experience in school web design we worked closely with Shoscombe Church School to re-develop their website to match the school’s new branding and make best use of photography. We designed a fresh, modern template for the school to ensure school news and achievements are clearly shown throughout the website, customisable class pages and much clearer navigation.

The entire website was re-built from scratch using WordPress to ensure a fast loading and responsive website across all device platforms, an improved news section and menu structure allow for easy navigation and access to information for current and prospective parents.

We finished the project by optimising the website for search engines and social media channels through our digital marketing service to allow easy and accurate access of information which can be achieved between users own social media accounts.
