Writhlington School is a secondary school located in the town of Radstock a few miles from the city of Bath, the school welcomes students from ages 11 to 18. The campus includes a sports centre, theatre, greenhouses, sixth form centre and a new studio school.
The client felt the existing website for the school was looking tired and out-dated, being some years old the use of modern technologies for mobile viewing was not being used and imagery of the school and students was little used across the website. Using the WordPress content management system we developed a school website that worked seamlessly across any device and any platform, using fantastic images of the school and students we were able to create a stunning website to showcase what the school does and can provide to existing and new students.
Working closely with the school we created the content for each individual page including selecting appropriate images to create an effortless flow through the website with pleasing and easy to view information. On launching the website we completed the project by ensuring the website was SEO friendly across all links and then re-directed old pages and no longer required mini sites to their new locations.
